THE LION AND THE MOUSE

At a huge forest, a lion was asleep pleasantly underneath the tree.
There was a clumsy mouse clambering over the lion. This wakened the lion who was sleeping pleasantly. The lion was then in bad mood.
Seeing a mouse walking on his head, the lion grabbed him with his paw in order to kill him.
“ You dare to bother me while I am pleasantly sleeping. I will punish as you deserve. ” The lion yelled with anger at the mouse.
“ Don’t punish me, please. I am sorry. I didn’t see that you are sleeping here. Please let me free, the great lion, ” the mouse asked pitifully for his life from the lion.
Hearing the plea from the mouse, the lion calmed down, “ OK! I will let you go this time. If you bother me again, I will not spare your life next time ”
The mouse was very glad that the lion did not take his life, “ Thank you very much, Sir. I will never forget what you have done to me. If I have a chance to repay your kindness, I will immediately do it. ”
“Ha! Ha! Ha! You the little mouse. How can you repay my kindness? I am the lion, the king of the wild creatures. I don’t need any help from small creatures like you. ”
“ That I know very well, sir. However, whenever you are in trouble, please think of me. ” The mouse then said good-bye to the lion and went back to his place.
One day the lion was caught in a trap of a hunter. He pleaded with any creatures passing by for help, but no one dare to help him. When the mouse heard about this, he immediately came to help.
“ Don’t worry, sir. I come to help you, ” the mouse said while using his sharp teeth gnaw away the ropes. The lion was free and escaped from the death miraculously.
